Your privacy

Dear Light does not save your conversations or ask for your name. Read the full promise

• Your conversations with Dear Light are sent through our small private connector to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, so that a reply can be written. Dear Light does not store your conversations. They disappear from this page when you close or refresh it.
• Anthropic does not use conversations sent this way to train its AI models. How long Anthropic keeps them is set out in its privacy policy.
• You never need to give your name. Please don’t share details like your address, phone number or account numbers.
• Your conversations are never sold or used for advertising.
• Experiences you save on The Living Edit stay in your own browser, on your own device. We cannot see them.
• The Sunday Light: your email address is used only to send you the letter, through the email service we use to deliver it. It is never sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing, and you can unsubscribe from any email, anytime.
• Letters you write to us at letters@dearlight.co are read by Maryana and never shared or published without your permission.
• If this ever changes, this promise will be updated here first, before the change takes effect.
